Color coordination is one of the easiest ways to bring the details of a party or celebration together. And this simple treat is one of the easiest (and cheapest ways) to do that. All you need is chocolate (or yogurt) pretzels and candy sprinkles.

The pretzels are available at most grocery stores, as are the sprinkles. I actually purchased the Wilton-brand sprinkles from Michaels as they sell most colors individually for $1/package. I only used half of each color for the entire tub of pretzels.
The process is very simple. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees. Spread the pretzels evenly on a parchment-lined cookie sheet and place in the oven for 60-90 seconds, just until the chocolate becomes shiny. Remove from the oven and shake the sprinkles evenly over the pretzels. A little goes a long way! Let the pretzels cool completely before placing them in a serving dish.

These particular pretzels would be perfect for your next patriotic celebration and, by switching the color combinations, you could serve them at baby/bridal showers and birthday parties. And with milk/dark chocolate pretzels and yellow+orange sprinkles, you’d be all set for your fall celebrations!
